This is me...

Winning the award for Best Caterer in "The Great British Wedding Awards" was a major milestone for me, but it also brought on a wave of Imposter Syndrome. I was in awe of all the amazing caterers across Wales and the UK, and wondered how I, a little old Steph, managed to come out on top.

Looking back, I realise that my journey to this point has been anything but easy.

I had three daughters by the time I was 19.

At that point, I wasn't the woman I am today.

However, my grandmother Winnie was my queen and she brought me up.

"Winnie's Catering", which says it all ❤️.

I feel blessed to have had her input in my life, especially since she was a chef herself.

In fact, three generations of chefs have been in our family.

Though my story is endless, I refuse to let it define me.

Despite the challenges, I have been running my little catering business for weddings and events, managing to weather the storm of covid and keep Winnie's Catering alive.

So where do I go from here? Honestly, I want to stay exactly where I am.

I take pride in being the people's caterer and am grateful for every opportunity to share my love of food with others.

I let my food talk for itself.
